Conference fees

  • Early Bird¹ Registration for ICON members: €295 + VAT @ 21.5% = €358.43
  • Early Bird¹ registration for non ICON members: €325 + VAT @ 21.5% = €394.88
  • Registration for ICON members: €325 + VAT @ 21.5% = €394.88
  • Registration for non ICON members: €360 + VAT @ 21.5% = €431.40
  • Registration for Students²: €170 + VAT @ 21.5% = €206.55
  • Conference dinner: €45 + VAT @ 21.5% = €54.68

¹The early bird deadline is 30 June, 2010.
²The student fee applies to students registered for a full time higher degree and must be accompanied by a signed letter from your head of department attesting to student status. This rate is not applicable to post-doctoral students.

Conference fee includes:

  • Mid session refreshments
  • 2 course buffet lunch on Thursday and Friday
  • Complimentary wireless internet access
  • Complimentary shuttle to and from Dublin airport
  • Complimentary coach service into city centre on Thursday and Friday (full details to follow)

Optional conference dinner:

An optional conference dinner will be held on Thursday 16th September. The venue will be the Guinness Storehouse, St James Gate, Dublin.  The cost of the evening is €45 per head and includes:

  • Free transport to and from the Guinness Storehouse
  • Free guided tour of the Guinness Storehouse
  • Drinks reception including free Guinness
  • Three course meal, including wine
  • Live Band

Payment

Registration fees are payable in advance of the conference. In order to expedite the registration process, please complete the online registration form with your credit card details. Confirmation of your credit card payment along with registration confirmation documents will be sent to you by (air)mail. If you do not receive confirmation of your registration 7 days prior to the event, please contact the conference secretariat.

Cancellations

Substitutions may be made at any time but please advise the Conference Secretariat of a change of name. If you find it necessary to cancel the registration completely, please notify the Conference Secretariat immediately. Provided written notice is received by 5 August, 2010 a full refund will be given less a 10% administration charge. Provided written notice is received by 19 August, 2010, a 50% refund will be given. It is regretted for registrations cancelled after 19 August, 2010, or for no-shows at the conference, the full fee (100% cancellation charges) will be payable.

In the unlikely event that Elsevier shall deem it necessary to cancel the conference, all pre-paid registration fees will be reimbursed. Elsevier shall not be liable for reimbursing the cost of travel or accommodation arrangements made by individual delegates.

Changes

The organisers reserve the right to change any sessions in the final programme.
